Abstract

This investigation was carried out to determine the vulnerability of the spaces of the city of Ahar due to the geographical location and other influential conditions. Using the results of previous research and presenting combinatorial components and modern indices using the AHP model, this question was addressed and eventually data output was provided. In general, the results of the vulnerability analysis of the spaces of the city of Ahar indicate that most of the built parts of the city are in the area of moderate vulnerability; marginal settlements are in the highly vulnerable area and the central and historical parts are classified in the highly vulnerable area. However, zoning the vulnerability of the entire city, including built and arid areas, the city is placed in the very low and vulnerable ranking. Therefore, prevent unauthorized separation and construction in slums, construction of neighborhood parks, construction and completion of the main road network, preparation of restoration and renovation projects of worn and marginal textures, prevent separation unauthorized outside the limits of the legal limits of the city, the transformation of abandoned cemeteries into public spaces such as green space and cultural spaces, wall placement and channeling of rivers and rivers and dredging and updating, are planning priorities and implantation to rehabilitate the city of Ahar in response to the earthquake.
